NYPD Blue (1993 - 2005)

This is a story about the investigation of crimes conducted by the detective team of the 15th precinct of the NYPD in New York City. However, the main characters' job responsibilities serve only as a backdrop, and the core of the plot is their everyday lives, relationships with colleagues, family, and friends. The first season revolves around John Kelly. After his departure, the main role is taken by Andy Sipowicz, a veteran of the NYPD and mentor to the team of young detectives.
