Interesting facts
Jamie Foxx suffered a brain haemorrhage that caused a stroke on set while filming in April 2023, requiring emergency surgery and a recovery that lasted several months. He subsequently made a full recovery and returned to set to finish filming. During rehabilitation he had to relearn to walk and undergo intensive speech therapy to regain full use of his speech. Reports indicated his chance of survival was about 5%, but he defied the odds and recovered fully.
