Shetland (2013 - …)

The TV series "Shetland" tells the story of Jimmy Perez, an experienced and talented Scottish detective. After the death of his wife, he returns to his native Shetland Islands with his teenage daughter, Cassie. Soon, fate presents the detective with a new case. In a settlement near archaeological excavations, the body of a female scientist is discovered. Perez returns to duty and takes on the investigation. It is revealed that shortly before her death, the victim was deeply troubled by one of the discoveries made.
