Interesting facts
In many films, Judas is usually kept in the background until the moment of betrayal. But in this picture he is given a much more central part, so audiences get to know him better. Borrelli said he wanted to show that Judas was not a villain. "For me, Judas is not a bad man. He is simply someone who was seized by Satan and lacked the strength to break away. Yet he was also fulfilling a divine prophecy, so his role was necessary." Tomlin added that "Jesus loved him [Judas] even though he knew he would betray him, and I think people will find it powerful to see this portrayed in this way."
