








Director Fleur Fortune and production designer Jan Houllevigue deliberately avoided wooden furniture and wood accents on the set because there are no forests remaining in this timeline. Instead, everything was constructed from concrete and stained glass and was purposely given a "1970s retro feel" to make it more relatable to audiences, rather than adopting the obvious scienceโfiction look โ white, minimal and clinical โ which would have appeared too futuristic.
