Ventura, David's superior in his office, is portrayed by the filmmaker himself, Martín Cuervo.
The film is a remake of the French Le sens de la famille (2020) but features several alterations to the script: unlike the original, in which multiple family members swapped minds, the Spanish version involves only a single mind-swap. And whereas the French film never established the true cause of the swaps (a magical crystal snowball), the Spanish edition uncovers it and uses it to restore everyone to normality. Nevertheless, an alternative ending leaves the door open for a possible new mind-swap.
This marks the second film appearance by child actress Sofía Otero, following 20.000 especies de abejas (2023).
Film composer Iván Valdés appears briefly as the guitarist at the restaurant where Ana (whose mind has been swapped with David's) and Andrea dine.
Despite their on-screen appearances, Gracia Olayo, Carlos Iglesias, Carlos Areces, Terelu Campos, Aitor Luna, Martín Cuervo and Gonzalo de Castro are placed at the very end of the end credits, credited as "special collaboration".
Spanish journalist and paparazzi Lydia Lozano was due to appear in a brief role in the film, but her part was omitted from the final cut.
