In the wake of the controversy surrounding the release of Blake Lively's earlier film, Mes dedame tašką (2024), Amazon disabled comments on the film's trailer across several social media platforms.
Elizabeth Perkins stepped into the role of Margaret in place of Jean Smart after Smart was unavailable due to scheduling conflicts. The film makes a light joke about this when Emily meets her mother and remarks that she seems a bit different.
