Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmares is the third instalment in the Twisted Childhood Nightmares universe.
In one scene of the film, the character Mia (Kelly Rian Sanson) tells Wendy that she's going camping with her friends. The same actress appears in Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, where she and several others are killed whilst out camping, implying the films are connected and set at the same time.
In the film, there is a scene in which the character Michael, having been seized by Peter Pan and locked in a room, watches a black-and-white film featuring a crocodile — a nod to the original tale where a crocodile is portrayed as Hook’s nemesis.
During Joey's abduction by Peter, he is shown wearing a "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey" T-shirt, the opening instalment of Frake-Waterfield's Twisted Childhood Universe.
