At the start of the film, Harald is released from Vridsløselille prison in Albertslund, Denmark. The facility became well-known in Denmark owing to the film series "Olsenbanden" (The Olsen Gang), whose screenplays were written by Henning Bahs — to whom this film is dedicated. Bahs died in 2002, shortly before the picture was released.
