The daughter in this film is called Matilda. In one scene diegetic music plays whilst Matilda and Annette prepare breakfast — the same piece is used in the 1996 film 'Matilda' during a scene where the eponymous character also makes breakfast. Additionally, 'Matilda' is the favourite film of the leading actress, Daisy Ridley.
