Kung Fu Panda 4 goofs

In the first Kung Fu Panda film, Po and Tai Lung were the same height. However, in this instalment Tai Lung was taller than Po.

When The Chameleon shape‑shifted into Tai Lung the first time, her eyes were golden. The second time she shape‑shifted into him, her eyes were blue.

When Tai Lung first encountered Po in the original film, he did not recognise him, even though he had once heard Monkey mention his name. However, in this instalment he referred to Po by name when speaking to The Chameleon.

Although Mr Ping is a goose, he utters a quack reminiscent of a duck.

When Chameleon summoned Masters from the Spirit Realm, Lord Shen was brought back despite having sacrificed himself in Kung Fu Panda 2 in a boat crash.

At the end of the film, Shifu spilt his tea onto the ground when he learnt that Po had chosen Zhen as the next Dragon Warrior. However, after Shifu walked away the pool of tea had vanished.

As the artefacts were flung into the air, Po caught most with his arms while holding the scroll in his mouth. But when he watched Zhen attempting to break the Urn Of Whispering Warriors, the scroll remained between his teeth, whereas the other artefacts were no longer in his arms.

In the first film, Tai Lung did not know Po was a panda when he discovered that Po had become the Dragon Warrior. However, in this film he refers to Po as a 'puffy panda' while speaking to The Chameleon, which suggests he was aware of Po's species.

In one scene, Po lifts a cover and sets it aside before going into a tunnel, but when he later enters the tunnel the cover is no longer visible where he had left it.

When Po first arrives in Juniper City, he tries to tell some of the guards that he is the "Dragon Warrior", but none of them recognise that title. He then adds, "perhaps you know me better as... The Kung Fu Panda!" While this provides a mildly amusing name-check, it is rather illogical, since at no point in any of the first three films was he ever referred to as "The Kung Fu Panda."

Although he had been erased from existence in the third film, Kai was summoned by the Chameleon.

When Zhen attempted to shatter the Urn Of Whispering Warriors, Po asserted he had broken it twice. However, in the first film he shattered it only once, and subsequently his biological father, Li Shan, broke it in Kung Fu Panda 3. Po also broke the urn on three occasions in Kung Fu Panda: Legends Of Awesomeness.

In the Kung Fu Panda television series, Kung Fu Panda: The Paws Of Destiny and Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, characters recognised Po's title as the Dragon Master. However, in this film, which is set after the events of those series, he is referred to as the Dragon Warrior, as in the earlier films.

Every kung fu school refused the Chameleon because of her small stature. That was a misleading assessment: Mantis and Master Chicken both became kung fu masters, yet they were smaller than she was.

For reasons unknown, Mr. Ping and Li Shan didn't spot the wanted posters for Po while they were searching for him.

When the Chameleon shape-shifted into Tai Lung, her skin bore scales rather than fur. For that reason, the buffaloes should have realised it wasn't Tai Lung they had seen at the beginning of the film.

At the start of the film, Li Shan wasn't concerned about Po. However, once he learnt that Po intended to stop The Chameleon, he set off after him, and it was then that he began to worry about him.
