Baahubali 2: The Conclusion goofs

During the conflict with the Pindaari, at around 59 minutes and 20 seconds, Baahubali's sword vanishes and then reappears as he ascends the steps.

After Kattappa stabbed Baahubali in the back, Baahubali fell onto the rock lying beside him. He turned and realised that Kattappa had killed him. Kattappa admitted it had been the king’s command. Baahubali then collapsed to the ground and Kattappa held him. During the fall one could see that Baahubali was beyond the rock. Just before his final breath, Baahubali crawled back to the rock.

Baahubali is essentially set in a pre-gunpowder era (prior to the 12th century). The Kuntala Palace is depicted as being invaded by Pindaris, yet the Pindaris are not attested in historical records before the 18th century.

Towards the end, the head of the Bhalla statue is shown drifting in the water and eventually reaching the Shiva temple by the waterfall. Although it appears to be floating, it is actually made of solid gold and seems to have no hollow inside either XD.

In the midnight battle at the Kuntala palace, Baahubali and Devasena seem to keep drawing arrows from an endless quiver, even though they began the fight with scarcely five or six.

Amarendra Baahubali (the father) wears long, straight hair with a heavy beard and moustache. By contrast, Mahendra Baahubali (the son) has short, curly hair and a light beard and moustache. In the film's final scene, during Mahendra Baahubali's coronation, he appears the same as his father — long, straight hair with a heavy beard and moustache. This may be because the coronation sequences for Bhallaldeva and Mahendra Baahubali were filmed together.

Most of the film's night-time sequences were actually filmed in broad daylight. Through colour-grading techniques a blue tint and increased contrast are applied in post-production to give them a nocturnal appearance. The clearest example is the scene where Baahubali tells Kattappa that no one yet born can kill him while Kattappa stands beside him — in the film it appears as night, but in the trailer it is shown in daylight.

In Prabhas's opening scene he drives a chariot through a door, which collapses and kicks up a cloud of dust; yet when the dust has settled the fallen door is absent from the ground, seemingly having vanished entirely.
