Condor's Nest goofs

In the 1954 scene at the Hipolitos bar in Buenos Aires, a bottle of Hendrick's Gin is conspicuously displayed on a shelf, despite the brand not being launched until 1999.

Motorbikes in the film, including the one Fritz rides, clearly feature disc brakes on their front wheels. Disc brakes did not appear on production motorcycles until the late 1960s. A close-up of the handlebars on the bike Fritz mounts clearly reveals the brake fluid reservoir at the end of the front brake lever.

About halfway through the film, the colour of Corrine Britti's eyes shifts from vivid green to blue.

In certain scenes Arnold Vosloo's character adopts Dutch/Afrikaans pronunciations for German words — for example, "Gewehr"/"Geweer", which means "rifle" in both languages. In German the initial G is a hard [g], whereas in Dutch and Afrikaans the G is realised as a guttural, "ch"-like sound.

The sound effects and the depiction of ammunition use for the MG42, as in most films, are inaccurate.

The belt is never emptied, and the MG42's rate of fire is rendered as a continuous "brrrp" rather than the rapid, repeated bursts characteristic of an M2 machine gun.

The downed B-17 lies in the middle of a wide field of tall grass and scrub. All of the vegetation behind the B-17 remains completely undisturbed, whereas, if the aircraft had crash‑landed there, there would have been a long track of trampled and destroyed vegetation.
