Thirteen goofs

In the scene where Mel is driving Tracey and Evie to Brooke's, it is evident that both girls are seated in the back seat. Yet when they arrive at Brooke's house, Tracey alights from the front seat.

At Melrose, once Tracey’s mum has dropped them off and the girls have stepped out of the car, they are visible through the window. Yet when a vehicle passes by, the girls are no longer there.

As Evie and Tracy step out of the car on Melrose, the same girl in a yellow sleeveless top walks past in each shot — once while they're still in the car, and once as they walk away from it.

After Evie and Tracy return from the park and go into Tracy's bedroom, you can see Mel through the window stand up to go and speak with Tracy. The shot then cuts from the bedroom back to Mel, who remains seated on the sofa.

While Tracy and Evie are at Luke's home, the pinball machine reflects the image of a camera operator.

During the intervention sequence near the film's conclusion Tracy rushes into the kitchen, where a calendar is visible displaying October 2003. The fight in which Tracy and Evie strike one another is described as occurring roughly four months after the first day of school, which would place it in late December or early January, and because their injuries remain unhealed at the time of the intervention, the two events must have taken place close together. That timing is also far too early for a pupil to be told she will have to repeat a year regardless of what she does, a revelation that occurs immediately before the intervention.
