Although Foley is present for the action-packed climax, inexplicably someone tells him the main villain's fate instead of him discovering it directly, despite him being there for the villain's demise.
At the golf course, while attempting to swipe a set of car keys, the attendant asks Foley to produce some ID; he replies that he hasn't got any. However, roughly six minutes earlier he had picked up his gun and badge while breaking out of the police station.
After Axel tears a page from the organiser at Rosewood's office, he folds it and tucks it into his back pocket. The next time he looks at that page, it's clear it was never folded.
When Axel holds up the sheet torn from Rosewood's organiser, it is plainly not the same one shown in earlier shots. In the opening shots the daily entries are written with a marker pen; in the subsequent shot the items are written with a ballpoint pen and the sheet is a different size.

Most of the pursuing vehicles lack a steady red light despite having their emergency lights activated. Under the California Vehicle Code, all emergency and law‑enforcement vehicles must display at least one steady red light at the front when their front-mounted emergency lights are in use.
Beverly Hills Cop 3 (1994) is the first film to introduce a love interest, and no child is mentioned in any of the earlier films. That film is set 30 years earlier (as confirmed when Bobby examines Axel's file), yet Axel states, rather confidently, that his daughter is 32 years old. If her mother is Janice from Beverly Hills Cop 3 (1994), she could not be older than 29.
