When Nora first visits Max's flat, the boom microphone is visible in reflections. A framed photograph on the bookcase mirrors the boom, and it can be seen moving as it tracks the dialogue.
In the film's final scene, while Max and Nora are conversing in the restaurant, their hairstyles shift halfway through the conversation.
After Max leaves the stag do for a second time in his Volvo and appears to be the only occupant, a drive-by shot clearly shows someone seated in the front passenger seat.
Nora is shown wearing natural-coloured hosiery before she leaves for the Thanksgiving dinner, yet on arrival she is wearing black hosiery. In fact, we never actually see Nora's hosiery before she arrives at the party, so this cannot be regarded as a continuity error.
At the beginning of the film, when Max drives Nora home from the pub where they met, he makes a 180-degree turn from the spot on the street where he had parked, yet this happens before Nora has told him how to get to her house. How could Max have known he needed to turn around at that parking place to head towards Nora's house? Of course, it is possible that the road he was parked on was a dead end and he had to carry out a 180-degree manoeuvre to get back onto the main road.
