Yinghung Boon Sik goofs

The on-screen cello playing at the "audition" (about the 11-minute mark) is poorly synchronised.

When Kit first introduces Jackie to his brother in hospital, she inadvertently snips the flowers from their stems and places them in the vase. In the following shot, the blooms are shown back in the vase completely intact.

Mark is nearly beaten to death, his face almost entirely covered in cuts and bruises. The following day, when he and Ho blackmail Shing, Shing has no cuts or bruising—only a small plaster at the side of his face.

When Mark opens fire in a restaurant, one of the gunmen is struck in the corridor — blood splashing onto the wall behind him as he topples and knocks over a picture. In later shots, however, the attacker's spattered blood has vanished and the picture is shown hanging correctly.

The camera operator can be seen reflected in the characters' sunglasses.
