Interesting facts
Director and writer Dea Kulumbegashvili spent a year at a maternity clinic in Independent Georgia preparing for the film. Lead actress Ia Sukhitashvili, some of the other cast members and a cinematographer also spent time at the same clinic. Kulumbegashvili has said the clinic staff were welcoming and familiarised them with the facility’s usual daily rota.
