"The Mandalorian" is a space western series about the Mandalorian race, familiar to fans of the popular "Star Wars" franchise. The series was specifically created for the Disney+ streaming service, with showrunner Jon Favreau, who has many successful projects under his belt, created for Disney. The plot tells the story of events that take place between the films "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens."
