The film was predominantly shot in Kashmir and Delhi, with a few sequences filmed in Mumbai. The director, Aditya Jambhale, revealed they worked in a part of Kashmir where no film had ever been made before — notably the Downtown area, which had previously been off-limits even to officials.
Arun Govil’s character is modelled on Prime Minister Narendra Modi; with this portrayal, Govil has added another much‑loved role to his repertoire after playing divine and legendary figures such as Raam (Ramayana), Shiva (Mahima Kashi Vishwanath Ki), Laxman (Lav Kush), Raja Harishchandra (Vishwamitra), Vishnu (Jai Maa Vaishnodevi), Venkateshwara (Govindha Govindha) and Vimramaditya (Vikram aur Betaal).
