Carnivàle (2003 - 2005)

The TV series "Carnivàle" is an American detective fantasy drama about a traveling circus of freaks. Eighteen-year-old Ben Hawkins runs away from his hometown and joins the troupe of actors. Among his new acquaintances are the fortune-teller Sophie, who possesses a true gift of foresight, Siamese twins, a bearded woman, a dwarf ringmaster, a snake charmer, a paralyzed telepathic old woman, and a blind professor. But it turns out that Ben himself fits into this peculiar company: he has long been haunted by strange prophetic dreams.
