Gal Gadot

For Gal, her family history is important. She comes from a Jewish family, and almost all of her relatives died in the Holocaust during World War II. Only her grandfather survived. Gal Gadot's name translates from Hebrew as "wave". At a young age, Gadot took part in the Miss Israel pageant and won. She even represented her country at Miss Universe, although she was not one of the finalists. Gal completed her military service in the Israeli army. For two years she was a physical training instructor. Gal Gadot has repeatedly said that she actively supports feminism. According to her, she appreciates the participation of all the women who laid the foundations of the movement. Without them she would not have been able to get an education. Gadot prefers to perform stunts in her films herself. She loves adrenaline and likes to take risks. To prepare for the role of Wonder Woman, Gal spent every day in the gym for an hour, and practiced martial arts a lot. The actress and her husband have a boutique hotel in Tel Aviv.
