Generation Kill (2008 - 2008)

The action takes place in Iraq in the early days of the war. The focus is on American marines and a reporter from the famous Rolling Stone magazine. The US invasion of Iraq in the early 2000s was a significant political and historical event. Journalist Evan Wright arrives at Camp "Matilda" in Kuwait, intending to cover the events on the battlefield. He will accompany the army in their advance towards Baghdad. The first months of combat are depicted through the unfiltered eyes of the infantrymen.
