The Brokenwood Mysteries (2014 - …)

The heroes of the series "The Brokenwood Mysteries" are a detective from a small settlement named Kristin Sims and her colleague, Inspector Mike Shepherd, who was sent to help her from the big city. The investigation begins when two fishermen find the body of a local farmer in the river. The partners discover that before his own death, the man was responsible for the death of his wife. Sims believes that he couldn't bear the guilt and took his own life. However, Shepherd has his own theory about this. He begins to search for suspects.
