The series "Crying is Forbidden" is a domestic dramatic thriller about the confrontation between an individual and the state. Tatiana Olsen, a single mother who finds herself in a foreign country, fights to bring her son back from a shelter. Russian woman Tatiana Olsen marries a citizen of one of the Scandinavian states. The couple has a son, Nikolai, but after their divorce, legal problems arise. One day, the boy doesn't come back from school, and Tatiana learns with horror that, according to the new law of juvenile justice, they have no intention of returning her son to her.
