The Russian melodramatic series "When the Sun Rises" tells the story of a girl named Rita Kozyreva. She harbors tender feelings for her professor at medical school, the brilliant surgeon Igor Osintsev. Rita has lived with him for 5 years, but the couple never went to the registry office.
