The Russian series "The Negotiator" revolves around Alexander Maximov, a renowned psychologist and the country's top negotiator. He has extensive experience in saving people in extraordinary situations. Maximov has conducted operations during terrorist attacks, conversed with criminals holding hostages, and talked people out of suicide. During negotiations, Alexander employs a method he himself has developed. However, even such a flawless specialist occasionally makes mistakes. One of them cost him his daughter.
