Bomb disposal experts are only called in for the most extreme cases. They don't just deal with standard explosives but with homemade bombs whose behaviour is unpredictable. That's why bomb disposal experts have to be the best at what they do. Retired MIA captains Viktor Seregin, Aleksandr Pkhota and Aleksey Ternovskiy (also known as Serge, Dogface and Joker) are three such experts. While their military days are long behind them, they can only dream of a peaceful life. Joker is taken hostage, Dogface is charged with murder and Serge's family is in danger when suddenly their traitorous former comrade-in-arms appears from the past.
