The Widower (2014 - 2014)

"The Widower" is a British crime thriller series based on real events, reminiscent of the modern-day "Bluebeard". Malcolm Webster works as a nurse in a district hospital but has a penchant for spending his wife's money. When Claire expresses her dissatisfaction, he secretly drugs her food. However, when Claire is about to undergo a medical examination, Malcolm must "dispose of the evidence" by staging an accident for her. After his wife's death, he inherits her money and flees to New Zealand, where he meets his new victim - Felicity Drummond.
