The TV series "How to Marry a Frenchman" is a Russian romantic comedy about innocent deception and its consequences. Young woman Dasha agrees to impersonate her realtor friend Alice in a business deal. The client is a wealthy Frenchman named Pierre, who turns out to be a Russian guy named Petya, Dasha's former classmate. Dasha recognizes him immediately, but he doesn't recognize her. A passionate yet complicated romance ensues between them, in which neither of them can bring themselves to confess their true identities to each other.
