The "U.S. Presidential Succession" list shown on the Situation Room's main board is inaccurate. It is only correct for the first seven entries, up to and including the Secretary of Defense; beyond that it should continue through the remainder of the President's cabinet but does not.

An interior shot of a US ICBM silo depicts an LGM-30F Minuteman II — a variant withdrawn from service in 1994. It ought instead to be showing an LGM-30G Minuteman III.

In one interior scene in the limousine, the view through the windscreen shows the vehicle negotiating a moderate bend at high speed. The driver has the steering wheel turned a full 180 degrees, revealing that the scene beyond the windscreen is a green screen — otherwise the car would have gone off the road straight away.
