The protagonist of the Spanish drama series "El hijo zurdo" is Lola, a well-off single mother. She is raising two almost grown teenage sons. The younger of the two, Lorenzo, has always been different from his peers. His giftedness, which could have given him a brilliant future, turns against the family due to his introversion and leads the boy into a dangerous company. Trying to bring him back home, Lola faces complete misunderstanding and her own inadequacy as a mother.
