This is an exciting crime-drama story about a journalist who investigates a crime that occurred on the Faroe Islands. Reporter Hannis Martinsson unexpectedly receives a message from animal rights activist Sonya, who claims to be his long-lost daughter. She is in mortal danger. Hannis rushes back to his homeland to meet his daughter, but discovers that Sonya has disappeared. His attempts to find her result in tragic consequences.
