"The Vow" is an exposé documentary series about the illegal activities of the NXIVM organization. Company employees offered women self-improvement trainings and seminars, but in reality, the victims found themselves in sexual slavery. The company resembled both a cult and a financial pyramid scheme. The investigation surrounding the company caused a lot of controversy in the United States and vividly reflected the state of American society.
