Starfleet Academy – "Star Trek: Starfleet Academy" is an American adventure series that takes place within the "Star Trek" cinematic universe. Similar to popular computer games of the 90s, the story unfolds within an educational institution. The central branch of Starfleet Academy is located on planet Earth, in the city of San Francisco. It is there that cadets undergo training in order to eventually assume leadership positions within the United Federation of Planets' space forces.
