The Act (2019 - 2019)

"The Act" is a dramatic television series based on real events that took place in the state of Missouri. One day, single mother Dee Dee Blanchard and her disabled daughter, Gypsy Rose, move here. The girl suffers from a range of incurable illnesses, which leave her confined to a wheelchair and rarely able to leave the house. Dee Dee has dedicated her entire life to caring for her child. However, her overprotectiveness turns the relationship between Dee Dee and Gypsy toxic.
