"Crossing Swords" is a puppet animation intended for adult audiences. The events take place in an alternative European Middle Ages. The main character is an ordinary peasant named Patrick, who has dreamed of becoming a royal squire since childhood. And one day, the young man gets a chance to fulfill his wish. But while in service, he is surprised to discover that his beloved kingdom is ruled by deceitful and greedy scoundrels who are willing to shed liters of human blood to maintain their power.
