Badaber Fortress (2018 - 2018)

The plot of the Russian military drama series "Fortress Badaber" is based on real events related to the legendary uprising of Soviet prisoners of war held in the Badaber camp in Pakistan during the Afghan War. In the early 1980s, a refugee camp was located in the small village of Badaber. There was an organization nearby that trained Islamic militants. Military instructors from the United States and Egypt were involved in training the future Mujahideen.
