Nickelodeon and Paramount+ have announced that "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" actress Samantha Lorraine will portray Dora, with Jacob Rodriguez cast as Diego. Lorraine replaces Isabela Merced, who played the title role in "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" (2019).
